Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2011

If you are interested in Phuket culture why not visit the Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2011. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about Thai culture in the local community. The Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2011, runs from Wednesday 28th September 2011 to Wednesday 5th October 2011.

Wednesday 28th September 2011 (From 4pm)
Watch the special parade leaving from Provincial Hall to Saphan Hin, to honor of His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej's 84th birthday on 5th December.



Thursday 29th September 2011 (From 7am)
Watch the street procession in Phuket Town starting from Sapam Shrine.



Friday 30th September 2011 (From 7am)
Watch the street procession taking place in Cahlong, Rawai and Karon.



Saturday 1st October 2011 (06.30am)
Visit Jang Ong Shrine and watch the street procession through Phuket Town Village.



Saturday 1st October 2011 (2pm)
Visit the Choor Su Gong Naka Shrine and watch the street procession in the village.



Saturday 1st October 2011 (7pm)
Visit Sapam Shrine and watch the street procession through Sapam Village.



Sunday 2nd october 2011 (07.30am)
Visit Cherng Talay Shrine and watch the street procession in Thalang District.



Monday 3rd October 2011 (8am)
Visit Jui Tui Shrine and watch the street procession in Phuket Town.



Tuesday 4th October 2011 (7am)
Visit the Kathu Shrine and watch the street procession in Phuket Town.



Wednesday 5th October 2011 (3pm)
Visit the Bangkoo Shrine and watch the street procession in Sapam and Bangkoo Villages.
